  • How do I book an appointment?
    The easiest way to book an appointment is to book here. During the booking process we ask a few questions regarding your wedding venue, dress size etc. Please provide as much information as you can as this will assist us to assist you.
  • Do I need to book an appointment or can I come in to browse?
    At Bridal by Empire, we operate by appointment only to ensure we have enough time to prepare for your visit. Choosing your wedding dress is a unique experience that requires personalised assistance. For trying on gowns and discussing important details, an appointment is required. However, we also offer come in and browse appointments. These are 10-15 minutes long, for the bride and one guest, to explore our styles, view our pricing and ask any quick questions.during the booking process.
  • How long is an appointment?
    Each appointment lasts one hour, allowing you to try on three to five carefully selected gowns in comfort. We kindly ask that you consider parking arrangements and arrive a few minutes early to make the most of your time with us.
  • How many guests can I bring?
    You are welcome to bring upto five guests with you to share this special experience. Whether you choose to come alone or prefer the company of your loved ones, the decision is entirely yours. Our bridal stylists will be there every step of the way to provide expert feedback and support, ensuring you make a decision that feels perfect for you.
  • Do you have accessible facilities for people with disabilities?
    Our bridal boutique is located on the second floor, which is only accessible via stairs. However, we do have wheelchair access at the rear of the building for access to the first floor clinic space. If you have mobility restrictions, please let us know in advance and we will do our best to accommodate you. We have a private space on the first floor where we can bring a selection of gowns based on your preferences, ensuring you still have a comfortable and enjoyable bridal experience.
  • What is the price range for dresses?
    Our bridal gowns range from $1800 to $3800, with most dresses falling within this range. Prices can vary outside of this range for custom gowns or modifications. We carefully select our collection to offer high-quality, beautifully crafted gowns at an affordable price point. If you have a specific budget in mind, we're happy to guide you towards options that suit your style and preferences.
  • How long before my wedding should I book my appointment?
    You should book your appointment as early as possible before your wedding. Our delivery times range between 12 weeks and 6 months, so booking early ensures we can accommodate your needs, whether you’re choosing a standard gown or a customised one. It also allows enough time for any additional alterations that may be required.
  • What do I need to do to prepare for my appointment?
    To ensure your appointment runs smoothly, here’s what we recommend: 1. Before Your Appointment: • When booking, please provide us with your wedding date, venue type, dress size, and preferred styles. These details help us tailor your experience. 2. What to Bring: • Bring any undergarments you plan to wear on your wedding day, such as stick-on bras, boob tape, shapewear, or special lingerie. We recommend smooth, seem free underwear in neutral tones. • Feel free to bring your wedding shoes. If you don’t have any yet, we have a small selection of shoes available in the salon to help you visualise the look with your dress. Please note we may not have your exact size. 3. Important Note: • Please avoid wearing perfume, deodorant, or makeup (including BB or CC creams) to your appointment. This helps us keep the dresses in pristine condition, as they are delicate. We’re here to make your experience as stress-free and enjoyable as possible!
  • What sizes are available?
    Bridal by Empire wedding gowns are available for purchase in sizes 6 to 36. However, due to our focus on sustainable manufacturing, we have limited sample sizes in the boutique, with most ranging from size 6 to 18. When booking your bridal appointment, please share your size so we can better prepare for your visit. If we don’t have your exact size in store, we can arrange to have a sample shipped. Our dresses can be fully customised to your needs and our stylists will make every effort to find a similar style that fits your dream.
  • What is the process when I find "The One"?
    Once you decide to purchase your dress at Bridal by Empire, here’s what happens next: 1. Choose Your Option: You will select between two options based on your wedding timeline: • Made-to-Order Standard: A dress that will be tailored to your specific measurements. • Made-to-Order Customised (when applicable): A dress with customisations to reflect your unique style. 2. Provide Your Measurements: You will have the opportunity to provide your measurements during your appointment, with the guidance of your stylist, ensuring the perfect fit. 3. Order Placement: After finalising your choice and measurements, your order will be placed. 4. Fabric Availability: It’s always recommended to order as soon as you’ve found the one to ensure the availability of your selected fabric. 5. Order Management: Your order will be managed directly by our team, and once it’s ready, we will arrange collection or dispatch it to you. 6. Sample Dresses: Please note that our gowns are samples for trying on purposes only and are not for sale, you will be unable to take your dress home the same day. This process helps ensure a personalised experience and that your dress is created just for you, with all the details to match your vision perfectly.
  • What do I do if I need to reschedule or cancel my appointment?

  • Can I bring children to my consultation?
    We absolutely love children, but to ensure the safety of little ones and maintain a tranquil experience for all our clients, we kindly ask that you do not bring children to your consultation. Our boutique and clinic are designed to provide a calm and serene atmosphere, and the space includes potential hazards including tiled floors and stairs. This policy helps us create the best possible environment for you to enjoy your special moment with us. Thank you for your understanding!
